Anime picnic in Warsaw, August

In August, the Wyspa club, together with friends from Wrocław, held an Anime Picnic in Warsaw, dedicated to activities, stories, music, vivid emotions, and inspiration from Asian culture. The event was hosted by the Wola Cultural Center.

Throughout the day, visitors prepared sushi, danced K-pop, created origami, participated in quizzes, sang karaoke, and learned about the traditions of the tea ceremony. The atmosphere was maintained by the teenagers themselves—they moderated activities, assisted guests, and worked at various locations.

The event brought together nearly a hundred people, ranging from the youngest 11-year-old anime fans to adult visitors. Among the guests was a representative of the Japanese Embassy in Poland, who joined in the tea ceremony.

This day became an example of how a joint initiative by teenagers can turn into a vibrant event full of energy, creativity, and mutual support.
