80+ integration meetings

Every week, for almost three years now, teenagers have been gathering at the Wyspa club to socialize and spend time together. This year, we have held over 80 such meetings, and since the club was founded, more than 200!

The older group meets every Thursday. Usually, there are more than 20 participants, but increasingly we welcome 30+ guests. Our teenagers play board games, discuss important issues, hold workshops, and plan their own events. Wyspa welcomes guests — entrepreneurs, volunteers, artists. They talk about their paths, share their experiences, help us see new opportunities, and invite us to training and internships.

The younger group consistently brings together about 25 children who participate in two different groups. They draw, create joint creative works, participate in team games, and learn about the traditions of Poland, Belarus, and Ukraine. Our older children also enjoy teaching and conducting classes with the younger ones.

After the meetings, the teenagers better understand themselves and their abilities, find friends with whom they continue to communicate outside the club. This is how music bands, sports tandems, new ideas, and dreams are born, which over time can certainly grow into joint projects for adult life.
